If you forgot The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is in fighting shape, don’t worry—she’s here to remind you.
The 47-year-old mom of four posted a series of photos to Instagram reminiscing about her competitive bodybuilding days, and she looks absolutely ripped. Naturally abs get all the fanfare in a bikini shot, but Teresa made sure her muscular back got its due too. She shared one shot flexing from behind with her very toned back and arms on full display.
“TBT one year ago, I gave it my all and trained in order to be a first time fitness competitor,” Teresa captioned the photo. “Proper nutrition, hydration, giving it my all in every single workout and consistency helped my reach my goal! Stay strong everyone and go get those goals! #goalgetter“
To recap: Teresa actually came in third place in the 40-plus bikini division at the NPC South Jersey Bodybuilding Championships. That’s pretty impressive for her first-ever bodybuilding competition. But it turns out, Teresa’s been a regular at the gym for quite a while. “I’ve gone to the gym since I could drive,” she told Us Weekly last year. “I wanted to see my body transform.”

So, what exactly did Teresa do to transform her body and prepare for the competition? She traded her usual yoga routine for strength workouts in the gym with heavy weights and her trainer, Patrice Vignola. She shared many of her sweat sessions on Instagram.
This is a throwback post, but Teresa is still making time for the gym. Since the competition, the reality star has shared photos wearing boxing gloves and flexing. She also continues to train with Vignola and share mirror selfies to prove it. Keep it up, Teresa!
